ACUPUNCTURE AND INSURANCE COVERAGE
Although every policy is unique and can differ widely regarding coverage, we have been able to obtain reimbursement from the following insurance companies:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield - State and Federal
- AETNA ( WE ARE IN NETWORK!)
- CIGNA ( WE ARE IN NETWORK!)
- Integral Quality Care ( WE ARE IN NETWORK!)
- United Healthcare
- Humana
- Vista
- United Benefit
- Many self-insured corporations
- Most auto-insurance companies
This is by no means a complete list. Please allow us to contact your insurer to determine coverage. Keep in mind also that you may have out of network benefits that can cover acupuncture costs. You do not have to have in network benefits only to get coverage. Please call us at 954-977-9077 so we may verify your insurance before your first treatment.
Unfortunately, Medicare does not yet cover acupuncture nor do HMO's. Write to your congressmen and demand coverage for acupuncture. Your voice will be heard and it can make a difference.
If you have been involved in an accident, we will accept PIP coverage and Medpay benefits. In most of these instances, you will not incur any out-of-pocket expense for your treatment.
